Job summary

iA Financial Group in Quebec is seeking an Optimization and Efficiency Advisor to lead high-performance process improvements, run Lean workshops, and guide teams toward measurable benefits.

You will diagnose processes, map workflows, and quantify gains, collaborating with Canadian business lines in English and French, in a hybrid work model with flexible spaces.

Qualifications

  • 3 to 7 years of experience in process optimization within a complex environment.
  • Green Belt certification required.
  • Strong knowledge of Lean principles and tools.
  • Proven analytical, problem-solving, and results-oriented mindset.
  • Willingness to learn and collaborate with teams.
  • Excellent ability to communicate with stakeholders in English.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct diagnostic assessments of processes to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans.
  • Design, prepare, and facilitate optimization workshops (Kaizen, problem-solving) with iA Group units.
  • Support managers and teams in deploying continuous improvement activities until benefits are realized.
  • Contribute to process mapping according to Lean principles.
  • Determine financial and non-financial gains and ensure follow-up.

What you will accomplish with us

As an Optimization and Efficiency Advisor, you will be at the core of our mission.

  • Conducting diagnostic assessments of processes to identify areas for improvement and developing action plans based on findings
  • Designing, preparing, and facilitating optimization workshops (Kaizen, problem-solving) with iA Group organizational units
  • Supporting managers and their teams in deploying continuous improvement activities until benefits are realized
  • Contributing to process mapping according to best practices and Lean principles
  • Determining financial and non-financial gains from optimization activities and ensuring proper follow-up

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has 3 to 7 years of experience in process optimization within a complex environment and holds a Green Belt certification
  • Is recognized for in-depth knowledge of Lean principles and tools

  • Demonstrates a strong willingness to learn and a collaborative spirit
  • Is known for the ability to work effectively in a team and communicate with various stakeholders
  • Has an advanced level of English proficiency, as the role involves weekly email and videoconference exchanges with teams across Canada, including both French-speaking and English-only business lines
