iA Financial Group in Quebec is seeking a Specialist, Advantage + to analyze and resolve complex retirement plan situations for VIP clients, ensuring precise operations and high service standards.

You will collaborate with clients, administrators and advisors, coach team members, manage tight deadlines, and contribute to process improvements in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of provincial legislation for retirement plans.
  • College diploma in a relevant field.
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience.
  • High level of professionalism and customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Act as expert resource for complex retirement plan cases and ensure accuracy of operations.
  • Analyze complex situations and determine corrective measures for client satisfaction.
  • Discuss issues with clients, administrators, committees, and advisors to resolve them.
  • Manage special projects with tight deadlines and rigorous coordination.
  • Handle escalated situations with professionalism and sound judgment.
  • Coach and support team members in processing transactions and resolving recurring issues.
  • Oversee workflow, identify obstacles, and delegate tasks to meet objectives.
  • Perform and review complex financial transactions, including tax adjustments.

As a Specialist, Advantage +, you will play a key role in analyzing and resolving complex situations while ensuring effective and efficient service for VIP clients. What You Will Accomplish With Us
  • Act as the team's expert resource person for complex retirement plan cases, applying provincial legislation and compliance requirements.
  • Analyze complex situations and determine appropriate corrective measures to ensure the accuracy of operations and client satisfaction.
  • Participate regularly in discussions with clients, administrators, retirement committees, advisors, and consultants to resolve complex issues.
  • Manage special projects and operational activities with tight deadlines that require rigorous coordination.
  • Handle escalated situations resulting from delays, errors, or disputes, demonstrating a high level of professionalism and sound judgment.
  • Guide, coach, and support team members in processing their transactions while contributing to the resolution of recurring issues.
  • Oversee workflow, identify obstacles, coordinate priorities, and delegate tasks to ensure the achievement of team objectives.
  • Perform and review complex financial transactions, including account corrections, tax adjustments, and peer reviews.
  • Collaborate with internal partners and act as a subject matter expert during workshops or continuous process improvement initiatives.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to VIP clients holding significant portfolios by providing effective and tailored solutions within tight timelines.
What Could Accelerate Your Success In This Role
  • Has in-depth knowledge of GRS products and applicable legislation;
  • Has a college diploma in a relevant field;
  • Has three to five years of relevant experience;
  • Is recognized for a high level of professionalism and excellent customer service skills;
  • Stands out for teamwork, collaboration, and the ability to take initiative;
  • Demonstrates strong judgment, analytical, and problem-solving skills;
  • Intermediate level of English proficiency required, as the incumbent will be required to understand and process information, files, and communications in English quickly with English-speaking internal and external partners on a daily basis;
  • Advance level of French profiency required.
