FYidoctors Okotoks is seeking an Optical Associate to join our clinic team in a full-time role. You will greet patients, guide frame selection, and interpret prescriptions to ensure the best fit and vision. The position emphasizes exceptional patient service in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

You will handle appointments, billing, and support clinic operations while delivering high-quality eyewear experiences and ongoing care for our patients.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greet and engage patients in person, by phone, and by email.
• Educate patients on eyewear options and frame selection.
• Interpret optical prescriptions and ensure proper fit of eyewear.
• Perform measurements, repairs, and adjustments.
• Coordinate appointments and prepare prescription printouts.
• Manage billing and payments for patients and insurers.
• Assist with contact lens fittings and orders.
• Deliver exceptional patient service and support clinic operations.
