Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA or equivalent professional certification required.
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience (public practice, external reporting, or regulated utilities).
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and regulatory processes.
• Experience with ERP and IT systems like Oracle Cloud, HFM, SmartView, or Essbase.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting documentation for reporting cycles.
• Prepare and analyze financial and regulatory reports per US GAAP.
• Analyze financial results and regulatory matters, communicating impacts to stakeholders.
• Support audits by preparing schedules and maintaining internal controls.
• Collaborate on complex deferral accounts, regulatory proceedings, and responses.
• Contribute to projects, system implementations, and process improvements.
