Job summary

Canadian Natural Resources Limited in Calgary is seeking an experienced accounting professional to join our Joint Venture Accounting team. You will analyze and record JIBs for operated and non-operated properties, resolve queries with stakeholders, and support monthly management reporting.

The role requires 5–12 years of oil and gas accounting experience, a Diploma or Bachelor’s in Accounting, and strong Excel skills. Relocation may be considered and a comprehensive benefits package is provided.

Qualifications

• 5-12 years of related oil and gas accounting experience.
• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and record non-operated joint interest billings (JIB).
• Investigate and resolve queries and disputes on operated JIBs.
• Monitor payment terms and payment patterns (KPIs).
• Provide analysis and commentary for monthly management reports.
• Maintain relationships with Joint Venture partners and other departments.
