Job summary

Confidential in Mississauga is seeking a hands-on Operations Supervisor to lead day-to-day manufacturing activities. You will mentor staff, drive safety, coordinate maintenance, and push continuous improvement across cost, quality, and yield metrics.

The role collaborates with site leadership and HR on people-related matters. The ideal candidate has 5-7 years of frontline supervisory experience in manufacturing and a strong background in Lean/Six Sigma and ERP/CMMS familiarity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, college diploma, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with Lean Six Sigma or continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience with production planning and workflow optimization.
• Strong analytical and multitasking abilities.
• Experience with recruitment and employee development processes.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Job description

Support site operations to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction by delivering excellence in safety, service, quality, and cost management. Partner with site leadership to provide effective leadership and development for operations staff, including recruiting, training, coaching, and performance management, while driving continuous improvement initiatives. Hours are 7:30am-3:30pm on Wednesday - Sunday.

Experience

• Experience leading teams within a formal safety program.
• Experience working in a regulated operational environment is an asset.
• Maintenance planning or maintenance program exposure is an asset.

Base pay range is $64,000 - 88,000 annually

Salary ranges provided take into account a wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications, geographic differentials and other business and organizational needs. Therefore, actual amounts offered may be higher or lower than the range provided.
