Job summary

Grand & Toy in Winnipeg is seeking an experienced operations leader to own the day-to-day of the Customer Fulfillment Centre, building a safe, productive environment and a culture of accountability. You will spend most time on the warehouse floor, coach teams, manage inventory, staffing, maintenance, and costs, and collaborate with Sales to ensure a best-in-class customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the building — Own the day-to-day operation and create a safe, productive, and positive environment.
• Build accountability — Set clear expectations, coach your team, address challenges, and recognize great performance.
• Drive results — Monitor operational performance and identify opportunities to improve productivity, service, and efficiency.
• Be hands-on — Spend the majority of your day on the warehouse floor, staying connected to your people and the operation.
• Own the details — From inventory and staffing to building maintenance, security, payroll, and operational costs, you'll take ownership of what happens on site.
• Partner for success — Work closely with Sales and internal teams to resolve issues and deliver an exceptional customer experience.

• Experience leading teams in warehouse, logistics, distribution, transportation, or fulfillment.
• A track record of influencing team culture, accountability, or operational performance.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A practical, solutions-focused approach to problem solving.
• The confidence to work independently and make decisions in a standalone operation.
• A genuine interest in developing people and continuously improving how things work.

Nice To Haves

• Post-secondary education in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field
• Experience with WMS, RF scanners, Kronos, Roadnet, or similar operational systems

Monday-Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
