Job summary

Grand & Toy Ltd. in Winnipeg is seeking an experienced operations leader to take the helm at the Winnipeg Customer Fulfillment Centre. You will shape culture, drive performance, and own the day-to-day operations on the warehouse floor.

You will build accountability, coach your team, and partner with Sales and internal teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences while ensuring safety, efficiency, and cost control.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in warehouse, logistics, distribution, transportation, or fulfillment.
• Track record of influencing team culture, accountability, or operational performance.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Practical, solutions-focused approach to problem solving.
• Ability to work independently and make decisions in a standalone operation.
• Interest in developing people and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead the building — Own the day-to-day operation and create a safe, productive, and positive environment.
• Build accountability — Set clear expectations, coach your team, address challenges, and recognize great performance.
• Drive results — Monitor operational performance and identify opportunities to improve productivity, service, and efficiency.
• Be hands‑on — Spend the majority of your day on the warehouse floor, staying connected to your people and the operation.
• Own the details — From inventory and staffing to building maintenance, security, payroll, and operational costs.
• Partner for success — Work closely with Sales and internal teams to resolve issues and deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Nice to haves:

• Post-secondary education in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field
• Experience with WMS, RF scanners, Kronos, Roadnet, or similar operational systems

Facility Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
