Job summary

Triple M Metal LP in Canada is looking for a Scale Operator Administrator to manage truck weighing, data entry for inventory and contract management, and provide general administrative support. This role ensures accuracy in records and contributes to smooth warehouse operations.

The candidate will operate the scale, monitor yard activities, and deliver excellent service to drivers and brokers while assisting with railcar administration and other warehouse tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• 1 to 2 years in a similar role preferred.
• 1 to 2 years of work experience performing general administrative duties.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Operates weigh scale and accurately records weights into Meyer inventory management system in accordance with operational policies and procedures.
• Conducts surveillance of yard operations from scale house in accordance with established guidelines and reports any and all issues arising from unauthorized personnel on or around the property.
• Provides exceptional customer service to members of the public, company drivers and/or third party brokers in accordance with prescribed policies, procedures and company values.
• May be required to provide railcar administration in accordance with prescribed procedures.
• Provide administrative support to other parts of the warehouse.

The Scale Operator Administrator is responsible for all facets of the truck weighing process including scale operation, data collection and entry and general administrative support ensuring accuracy in inventory and contract management. This role also provides administrative support via data entry and system upkeep.

Hourly Rate: $23.76

Shifts/Hours

Monday to Friday 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Saturdays 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon as required
