We are seeking a skilled and adaptable professional to join our team in a role that reports directly to the Executive Director and supports strategic priorities, key organizational initiatives, and branch operations.
Reporting to the Executive Director of Business Services, the Operational and Planning Coordinator provides research, analysis, planning, coordination, and reporting support to advance departmental priorities, programs, and policy initiatives. Working under supervision, the incumbent contributes to business planning and reporting, legislative and Cabinet processes, program implementation, performance measurement, and continuous improvement initiatives. The role requires strong organizational and project management skills to coordinate multiple initiatives and support corporate reporting requirements.
This role is ideal for a collaborative and detail-oriented individual who enjoys managing multiple priorities, coordinating projects with tight timelines, supporting executive decision-making, and driving continuous improvement. The successful candidate will work with a wide range of stakeholders, gathering and analyzing information, preparing briefing materials and reports, and ensuring key initiatives stay on track.
The position also provides operational support to the Executive Director’s Office and the branch leadership team, including coordinating information requests; supporting recruitment and administrative processes; assisting with contract documentation; maintaining collaboration and information-sharing tools; organizing meetings and briefing materials; and identifying opportunities to improve business processes through technology and innovation, including the use of artificial intelligence.
The successful candidate is an excellent communicator with strong organizational and time management skills, the ability to prioritize competing demands, work independently, solve problems, and meet deadlines. A commitment to collaboration and service excellence is essential, as the role provides critical support to branch operations within an established framework of policies, procedures, and administrative standards.
