Job summary

Shoppers Drug Mart Inc. in Mississauga is seeking a Pharmacist to coordinate dispensing activities within the SDMSHN Pharmacy and provide medication support to patients in accordance with regulations.

Qualifications

• University degree in pharmacy required.
• Licensed in the province of practice (Ontario).
• 1+ year of relevant pharmacy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate dispensing of medications and ensure accuracy and safety.
• Counsel patients, provide drug information and education.
• Oversee billing, patient records and confidentiality compliance.
• Supervise pharmacy staff and participate in sterile compounding where needed.
• Maintain SOPs, participate in audits and safety initiatives.
