Job summary

Shoppers Drug Mart in Ontario is seeking a Pharmacist to manage the operations of the Pharmacy on duty, provide consultations to customers and health care providers, and dispense medications while maintaining dispensary standards.

You will ensure privacy, adhere to regulations, support professional services, and collaborate with health care professionals to deliver patient-centered care. This role emphasizes accuracy, customer service, and leadership in a community pharmacy setting.

Responsibilities

• Acknowledge all customers approaching the Pharmacy and provide counselling on prescriptions.
• Practice within regulatory requirements and ensure privacy and consent management.
• Maintain accuracy and appropriateness of all prescriptions dispensed; communicate with health care professionals.
• Maintain records per legislation and policy.
• Oversee workflow queues, stock levels and documentation of substances.
• File incident reports and ensure safe store operations and image.
