Job summary

Shoppers Drug Mart is seeking a pharmacist to manage the Pharmacy operations on duty, provide professional consultations to customers and health care providers, and dispense medications while maintaining privacy and regulatory compliance.

The role requires working within expanded scope of pharmacy practice and contributing to dispensary maintenance, with emphasis on customer-centered care and teamwork across the health care circle.

• Complete mandatory training and voluntary continuing education workshops, as needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage the operations of the Pharmacy during your shift.
• Provide counselling on prescriptions and OTC products to customers.
• Ensure privacy requirements and patient confidentiality are maintained.
• Dispense medications accurately and communicate with health care providers.
• Maintain records in accordance with legislation and standards.
• Assist in inventory and workflow management to support efficient service.
