Reporting to the Director of Operations, the primary role of the Operations Manager is to lead procurement and planning within a demand-driven supply model. The focus will be on executing the corporate strategic plan, supporting growth and expansion targets. The Operations Manager will develop and implement the company's procurement philosophy, material readiness, and utilize Material Resource Planning (MRP). Responsibilities include managing and planning goods and materials, creating forecasts for inventory management, strategic ordering, and vendor selection.
This role involves establishing a process model with inventory and operations, mitigating risks, and maximizing production throughput. The person will support the team in leveraging Acumatica, especially concerning MRP, inventory, sales orders, production orders, BOMs, and purchase order accuracy.
Primarily based in Cochrane, with a flexible schedule including some international calls. Some travel may be required; a valid passport is necessary.
