Qualifications

• Previous Dispatch experience required.
• Knowledge of MS Office and in-house software is essential.
• 2-3 years of current Driving experience preferred.
• Must have valid Driver's License.
• Must be at least 25 years old.
• Clean Drivers Abstract and clear Background check required.

Responsibilities

• Answer staff questions regarding deliveries or pick-ups.
• Transfer air and ground freight to agents.
• Alert branches about missorts and missing freight.
• Complete Dock Searches.
• Ensure compliance with delivery requirements.
• Complete occasional pickups and deliveries.
• Monitor Proof of Deliveries for time-sensitive deliveries.
• Coordinate weekend specials and after-hour deliveries.

Job Title: Operations Dispatcher

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 11:00am to 7:00pm

Location: Dieppe, NB

Position Type: Permanent, Full Time

Salary: $22.10/hr

We are searching for the next great dispatch and freight handler for one of our esteemed clients in Moncton/Dieppe area. This is a full-time position with great benefits. Job Responsibilities

• Answer any questions staff may have regarding deliveries or pick-ups.
• Transfer air and ground freight to our agents.
• Alert branches & CSR's about missorts, missing freight and freight on hand.
• Initiate and complete Dock Searches
• Assure drivers and agents comply with pickup and delivery requirements.
• Complete occasional p & d if the need should arise.
• Cover off vacations and sick days on occasion.
• Monitor Proof of Deliveries for time sensitive deliveries.
• Work with the other branches and customer service to ensure our customers' needs are met.
• Daily end of day reports.
• Daily transfer to Cargojet YQM and after hour pick up coordination.
• Coordinate weekend specials and after hour deliveries as required.
• Deal directly with both existing customers and potential new customers service requirements

Qualifications and Requirements

• Previous Dispatch experience
