Status: Permanent Full-Time

Reporting to the Business Technology Manager, the Operations Assistant - Information Technology provides administrative, technical and coordination support for organization-wide technology operations. The role supports day-to-day user service, account and device administration, system monitoring, documentation, security practices, technology inventory, vendor coordination and technology projects so that systems remain reliable, secure and responsive to operational needs.

The following traits and qualifications are required:

• Post‑secondary education in business, office administration, information technology or a related discipline is preferred; an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered.
• Administrative or coordination experience in a professional office environment is strongly preferred.
• Proficiency with technology and the ability to quickly learn and navigate new software applications, systems and digital tools.
• Strong organizational, time‑management and communication skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities, coordinate across multiple locations and follow tasks through to completion.
• Resourceful, service‑oriented and detail‑focused, with the ability to explain information clearly, build positive working relationships and exercise discretion with confidential information.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with employees, leaders, vendors and team members.
• Commitment to ongoing learning and continuous improvement.
• Experience with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office or similar workplace technology is an asset.
• Experience supporting technology‑related initiatives, providing basic technical assistance or working with I.T. support/ticketing systems is an asset.
• Experience in a multi‑site environment or coordinating with vendors and external service providers is an asset
