Job summary

Borealis Fuels & Logistics is seeking a proactive administrative professional to support its Central British Columbia operations from a Williams Lake or Quesnel branch. The role focuses on safety, compliance, ERP support, and day-to-day office tasks in a growing logistics environment.

Qualifications

  • Administrative support to the Operations team including Safety, Compliance, ERP support.
  • Facilitate client requests and customer management within ERP software.
  • Accounts receivable as directed.
  • Assist staff in procurement through appropriate channels.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and data analysis.
  • Maintain safety, inspections, maintenance and compliance records.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the Operations team and local branch office (Safety, Compliance, ERP support, Projects).
  • Facilitate client requests and customer management within ERP software.
  • Accounts receivable as directed.
  • Assist staff in procurement through appropriate channels.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and data analysis.
  • Maintain safety, inspections, maintenance and compliance records.
  • Maintain accurate and organized records, both physical and electronic.
  • Ensure compliance with record-keeping policies and procedures.
  • Facilitate communication within the organization and with external partners.
  • Manage correspondence, emails, and phone calls.
  • Assist in HR-related tasks such as onboarding, offboarding, and employee record maintenance.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
  • Maintain office organization and cleanliness.

Job Description

Summary:

This position will be vital to the business's day-to-day and long-term goals. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated and able to work in a flexible environment. As Borealis is growing, successful applicants can grow with the company. The selected candidate will work with the corporate operations group and support Central British Columbia branch team members. Customer service is emphasized here as it is a key role for Borealis in our corporate and branch offices.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Qualifications:
  • Working knowledge of the propane industry is preferred
  • Safety, compliance and logistics experience
  • Strong knowledge of computers and cloud ERP systems
  • Communication and coordination skills required
  • Strong administration experience
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills required
  • Friendly and outgoing
Education/Experience Requirement:
  • High school Degree
  • University or college degree in business administration preferred
