Job summary

Brewers Distributor Ltd is seeking an Operations Administrator at the Calgary Distribution Centre. This full-time, 12-month contract role runs Monday to Friday from 2pm to 10pm, with flexibility for other shifts.

You will support daily logistics operations, process paperwork, and interact with customers and carriers to ensure efficient distribution of beer products. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma and experience with SAP or ERP systems, plus a background in dispatch or warehouse

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Preferable SAP or ERP system experience.
  • Experience in a dispatch or warehouse environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and verify daily paperwork and reports.
  • Support daily operations in a fast-paced logistics setting.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams, customers, and carriers.
  • Schedule inbound and outbound load appointments as needed.
  • Investigate and respond to customer credit requests.
  • Assemble and maintain load manifests and related documents.

The Role

We are currently searching for an Operations Administrator, reporting to the Assistant Manager, Operations. This is a full-time, 12 month contract opportunity. The anticipated schedule is Monday to Friday from 2pm to 10pm, however, candidates must be available for all shifts as needed. The Operations Administrator plays a key role in supporting daily operations and administrative tasks that support the overall logistics efficiency.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Daily reporting and ongoing verification/compilation of paperwork
  • Support operations working in a fast paced and dynamic environment
  • Effective communication and customer service skills as this position requires direct contact with internal and external customers or third-party carriers
  • Scheduling inbound and outbound load appointments with flexibility
  • Investigating and completing customer credit requests
  • Building load manifests
  • Perform other related duties and projects as assigned
Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
Experience
  • Preferable experience with SAP, and/or similar ERP systems experience using business process management software
  • Experience working within a dispatch or warehouse environment would be preferable
Skills
  • Exceptional data-entry speed and accuracy
  • Proven ability to produce accurate, efficient and timely documentation
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Excellent customer service, communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills

Compensation
