Job Description
Borealis Fuels & Logistics is seeking a Labourer to support day-to-day operational activities across designated regions. This role is critical to ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable operations through general labour support, equipment handling, yard maintenance, and assistance with fuel distribution activities.
The Labourer will work closely with branch leadership, drivers, service technicians, and field teams to support operational efficiency, safety compliance, and overall service delivery. This role reports to the Area Manager.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Support Borealis’ vision for LPG service excellence in the Yukon.
- Maintain the Borealis yard in a safe, clean, and organized manner while following inventory management procedures.
- Assist with tank recertifications (training provided by Borealis).
- Perform tank evacuations and assist with returning competitor tanks when required.
- Support snow removal and winter maintenance activities to ensure safe working conditions and minimize hazards.

ist the service team with residential, commercial, and industrial propane and gas distribution system installations.
- Assist with new tank installations, tank swap‑outs, and related field service activities.
- Operate equipment and assist with crane truck operations, where qualified and required.
- Work closely with licensed gas fitters and service technicians in a gas fitter helper/apprentice support role.
- Load, unload, move, and organize materials, tools, tanks, and equipment in the yard and field locations.
- Follow all Borealis safety policies, operational procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Provide general labour support to field operations and branch activities as assigned by management.
Education & Experience
- Minimum High School Diploma
- Class 1 or 3 driver's licence with Air Brake endorsement (to be done if not acquired yet)
- Bulk handling, bottle fill, PTI-recognized courses (Borealis will provide training), TDG
Position Requirements
- Knowledge of the LPG/fuel industry
- Proficient with computers and office software
- Exceptional communication and time management skills.
- Multitasking and the ability to work with teams.
- Solid knowledge of the Canadian mining industry
- Communication and self-organization skills, a hands‑on mentality
