Job summary

Borealis Fuels & Logistics is recruiting for a fuel delivery and tank installation support role in Yukon. You will operate the bulk truck for propane deliveries, assist in installing Borealis tanks, and help manage routes with the Dispatch Coordinator.

The position emphasizes customer service and efficient field safety. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, a Class 1 or 3 license with air brake endorsement, and TDG experience; training will be provided for bulk handling and PTI

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of LPG/fuel handling and safety practices.

  • Valid commercial driver's license with air brake endorsement and TDG awareness.

Responsibilities

  • Support LPG service excellence in the Yukon and operate the bulk truck for fuel deliveries.
  • Load and unload, pull hoses up to 150 feet, and manage deliveries in snow and varying terrain.
  • Assist in installing new Borealis tanks and operate the crane truck when required.
  • Evacuate fuel from competitor tanks and return tanks to competitor yards as needed.

Job Description
Summary:

This position will be vital to the business's day-to-day and long-term goals. The individual needs to be highly motivated and able to work in a flexible work environment. This position will primarily be responsible for fuel deliveries and supporting new tank installations. Customer service is emphasized here, as this is a key role for Borealis.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Support Borealis’ vision for LPG service excellence in the Yukon;
  • Operate the bulk truck for fuel deliveries, which includes:
    • climbing in and out of the truck safely multiple times per day (up to 30 or more);
    • pulling the delivery hose to tanks up to 150 feet away in snow, up and down hills if required;
    • lifting and installing heavy-duty tire chains (approx. 60 lbs) if required in the winter;
    • interface with MOGO in the bulk truck;
    • Support the development of routes in MOGO with the Dispatch Coordinator.
  • Assist in the installation of new Borealis tanks when required and operate the crane truck, which includes:
    • climbing on the crane truck deck to install and remove rigging;
    • safely operate the crane (experience and training may be required);
  • Evacuate the fuel in competitor tanks (customer-owned fuel) and return tanks to competitors' yards when required;
Education/Experience:
  • Minimum High School Diploma
  • Class 1 or 3 driver's licence with Air Brake endorsement
  • Bulk handling, bottle fill, PTI recognized courses (Borealis will provide training), TDG
Position Requirements
  • Knowledge of the LPG/fuel industry
  • Proficient with computers and office software
  • Exceptional communication and time management skills.
  • Multitasking and the ability to work with teams.
  • Solid knowledge of the Alberta Oil and Gas industry is an asset
  • Communication and self-organization skills, a hands‑on mentality
  • Attention to detail and a self-starter
  • Fit for duty and physically able to perform the above duties safely.
