Job summary

Framatome Canada is seeking an Operational Excellence (OPEX) & Lean Six Sigma Black Belt to lead high‑impact improvement initiatives across the organization in Ontario's Pickering area. This role uses Lean and Six Sigma methods to eliminate waste, reduce variability, and drive measurable performance improvements.

You will partner with Master Black Belts, Process Owners, and cross‑functional teams, coach belts, and develop metrics and dashboards to communicate progress and value to leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field plus a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience. Equivalent work experience may be considered.
• Completion of Lean Six Sigma Black Belt training and projects is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead Lean Six Sigma projects across multiple functions using DMAIC/DMADV/Kaizen to achieve measurable efficiency and quality improvements.
• Identify high‑impact opportunities using data‑driven analysis and align improvement activities with strategic objectives.
• Facilitate value stream mapping, Kaizen events, and root‑cause problem‑solving workshops.
• Coach Process Owners, Champions, and project teams on Lean principles, Six Sigma tools, and change management practices.
• Develop and maintain performance metrics, dashboards, and communication tools to measure progress and outcomes.
• Partner with business leaders to ensure continuous improvement initiatives align with VOC and deliver enhanced quality, timeliness, cost efficiency, and user experience.
• Develop and mentor yellow and green belts.
• Manage complex, high‑visibility projects and collaborate across sectors to drive enterprise‑wide operational excellence.
