Job summary

Equitable in Ontario seeks an Operational Efficiency Analyst to lead process redesign, automation and data-driven improvements for client and partner experiences. You will use Lean Six Sigma and Power Platform tools to map current and future state processes, collaborating with Operations and leadership to realize measurable benefits.

The role is hybrid with office days in Waterloo, Ontario, and involves change management, reporting development, and cross-functional coordination to modernize

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience with process redesign initiatives using formal methodologies
  • University degree in Finance, CS, Data Management, Business Administration, Mathematics or equivalent
  • 3+ years of quantitative data analysis and data management techniques (insurance preferred)
  • Knowledge of project management lifecycle and change management principles
  • Ability to apply analysis and reengineering methods to improve processesthrough simplification and automation
  • Proven ability to manage stakeholder relationships from executives to individual contributors
  • Proactive, strategic thinker prioritizing business needs and complexity of changes
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certified with pursuit of Black Belt
  • Proficient in Visio or similar process mapping tools
  • Strong experience developing solutions with Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, PowerApps, Flow)

Responsibilities

  • Identify, own, and implement initiatives to improve operational processes and realize benefits
  • Consult with management on business needs and opportunities with recommended process improvements
  • Analyze processes and propose transformations via automation and digitization using Visio maps
  • Develop and implement change management plans for redesign initiatives
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to map and design new processes and procedures
  • Define requirements for changes ensuring client needs drive solutions
  • Collaborate with Operations for successful implementation of new processes
  • Analyze operational data to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Own end-to-end process redesign initiatives from opportunity to implementation
  • Apply reengineering methodologies to modernize projects
  • Develop and execute redesign plans and coach teams through change
  • Provide regular leadership updates on status and savings
  • Build dashboards and reporting tools to support operations
