Job summary

Bombardier in Dorval is seeking a Business Operational Excellence Specialist to lead process-improvement initiatives and deploy the OE program across manufacturing operations. You will drive Lean Six Sigma projects, mentor leaders, and deliver executive-ready insights through Power BI and related tools.

The role requires 10+ years in manufacturing, strong change-management skills, and fluency in English and French, with occasional travel to support BOE deployment across sites.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Industrial Engineering, Operations or Business Management.
• 10+ years of manufacturing and continuous improvement experience.
• Expert in Kaizen, Lean, and structured problem solving.
• Proven leader in project, change management and operational transformation.
• Strong track record of training, coaching, and mentoring leaders and teams.
• Exceptional facilitation, communication, and influencing skills.
• Ability to develop and deliver executive-level presentations.
• Fully bilingual in English and French.

Responsibilities

• Lead and facilitate process improvement and problem-solving projects using Lean Six Sigma to cut waste and boost efficiency.
• Develop strategies and solutions for deploying the company-wide Operational Excellence initiative, including tools and leadership practices.
• Be the expert to engage the organization and promote OE as the standard for business performance.
• Develop training strategies with stakeholders to raise teams' performance management capabilities and delivering value to customers.
• Conduct detailed analysis of operational data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Be a process-based leader driving standardization, KPIs, and infrastructure to sustain improvements.
• Lead change management efforts with clear communications to ensure stakeholder engagement and cross-team collaboration.
