Connor, Clark & Lunn Financial Group Ltd. in Toronto, Ontario, is seeking an Analyst, Institutional Portfolio Operations to support cash flow processing, subscriptions, redemptions and daily portfolio operations for institutional clients.

The role involves data validation, risk identification, and collaborating with the IRG Process Automation team to improve automated workflows and controls. A strong eye for detail and 2+ years in institutional investment is expected.

Competenze

• Undergraduate degree in business administration, commerce or a related field.
• At least 2 years in institutional investment, bank or trust.
• Strong written and verbal communication, and collaborative work style.
• Ability to think rationally and solve problems.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 tech and data-driven automation is an asset.

Mansioni

• Act as a primary operational contact for cash flow inquiries from investment teams, client-facing teams, custodians, affiliates, and other internal stakeholders.
• Process and validate institutional subscription, redemption, and other cash flow instructions to support daily trading and portfolio management activities.
• Perform daily validation, reconciliation, and quality control procedures to ensure cash flow information is complete, accurate, and consistent across systems.
• Identify operational risks, control gaps, and process inefficiencies, and recommend practical solutions to improve accuracy, resiliency, and service quality.
• Partner closely with the IRG Process Automation team to drive the evolution of cash notice operations through the design, implementation, and continuous enhancement of automated workflows, controls, validation checks, and exception-monitoring processes that strengthen the control environment and support scalable growth.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver operational excellence and support the evolving needs of CC&L's investment management business
