Job summary

NTT DATA BCU, Inc. in Vancouver, BC, seeks a Deskside Technician to provide on-site and remote IT support, resolve routine and non-routine problems, and assist with hardware/software installation and configuration.

Qualifications

1–2 years of desktop/software support and hardware experience (break/fix).
1–2 years’ experience with application packages.
Experience with printer support, Office 365, Active Directory, and ticketing systems (ServiceNow).
Must have driver's license and reliable personal transportation.
On-Call/Shift work required (evenings/weekends/nights).
Must be fully vaccinated per Health Authority policy; vaccination proof collected during onboarding.

Responsibilities

Receives, reviews, and completes service requests.
Resolves technical problems that require onsite presence.
Installs and configures computer hardware, software, and peripherals.
Works independently to identify and resolve underlying technical issues.
Provides routine instruction to customers in systems and protocols.
Alerts Manager to current or potential problems with systems or applications.
Provides feedback on processes and customer service issues.
Must regularly lift machinery, tools, supplies and equipment weighing up to 20 kg.
