Job summary

Basecamp Resorts Ltd. in Calgary/Canmore seeks an IT Systems & Support Specialist to provide hands-on desktop support, manage Microsoft 365, Intune, and Azure AD, and help secure and modernize our IT environment across multiple properties.

You will implement device management, data governance, and security foundations while supporting AI-enabled tools like Copilot. Regular travel between sites is required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years IT support, systems support, or IT operations experience.
• Strong hands-on Windows desktop and endpoint troubleshooting.
• Proven experience administering Microsoft 365 in a business environment.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune (MDM), device policies, and endpoint compliance.
• Working knowledge of Azure AD, Conditional Access, and identity management.
• Experience with endpoint security, patching, and device hardening is expected.
• Familiarity with data governance tools like Purview or DLP is a plus.
• Willingness to travel between Calgary, Canmore, and properties.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day desktop and laptop troubleshooting for Windows-based systems.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, printer, peripheral, and connectivity issues.
• Deliver in-person and remote support to staff across multiple properties.
• Manage support tickets and document resolutions.
• Support meeting room tech, devices, and shared equipment.
• Administer Microsoft 365 users, licenses, and services.
• Configure and enforce Intune device enrollment and policies.
• Lead onboarding/offboarding and identity provisioning.
