Job summary

Arvato is seeking an IT Onsite Support Technician to serve as the primary on-site contact for technical support, ensuring efficient resolution of IT issues and maintaining end-user productivity. You will perform hands-on troubleshooting, hardware/software support, and contribute to IT service delivery for internal customers.

In this role you will manage onsite tickets, respond to issues via phone, email, chat and on-site support, and assist with migrations, patches and updates as part of our IT

Qualifications

• Ability to diagnose and resolve basic computer technical issues
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts with minimal notice
• Detail oriented
• Analytical/Critical thinking
• Highly organized
• 2+ years of experience working in a help desk or onsite support environment
• The ideal candidate will have a Diploma or degree in Information Technology or related field and a minimum of 2 years of IT support experience working in a help desk or onsite support environment.
• Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or CCNA preferred
• Experience with Azure, PowerShell, or monitoring tools preferred

Responsibilities

• Manage onsite support tickets and remote technical support
• Respond to technical issues via phone, email, chat & on-site support
• Perform remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions
• Determining the best solution based on the issue and escalating issues to the next Tier with next level of difficulty as needed
• Install, make changes, and repair computer hardware and software
• Monitor site to proactively identify and resolve issues
• Support overall IT initiatives for migrations, patches and updates, as assigned
