Arvato in Mississauga is seeking an IT Onsite Support Technician to serve as the primary onsite contact for technical support, ensuring efficient resolution of IT issues and maintaining end-user productivity. You will provide hands-on troubleshooting, hardware/software support, and IT service delivery for internal customers.

This role involves managing onsite tickets, remote support, and deploying solutions across the site while supporting IT initiatives like migrations and updates.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a help desk or onsite support environment.
• Diploma or degree in Information Technology or related field and a minimum of 2 years IT support experience.
• Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or CCNA preferred.
• Experience with Azure, PowerShell, or monitoring tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage onsite support tickets and remote technical support.
• Respond to technical issues via phone, email, chat & on-site support.
• Perform remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions.
• Determine the best solution based on the issue and escalate issues to the next Tier with next level of difficulty as needed.
• Install, make changes, and repair computer hardware and software.
• Monitor site to proactively identify and resolve issues.
• Support overall IT initiatives for migrations, patches and updates, as assigned.
