Job summary

The Salvation Army Jackson’s Point Conference Centre in Ontario is seeking a part-time Housekeeper to maintain cleanliness, replenish supplies, and keep housekeeping tasks in compliance with health and safety guidelines. You will ensure tidy, sanitary guest areas and assist with dining and laundry as needed.

Applicants should have a minimum of two years of cleaning experience, knowledge of health and safety standards, and strong customer service and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Secondary school completion required.
• Minimum of two years' experience as cleaner or housekeeper.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive cleaning and sanitization of rooms, bathrooms and public areas.
• Inspect spaces to meet established quality and safety standards.
• Clean and disinfect fixtures, appliances and high-touch surfaces per guidelines.
• Manage waste removal and recycling; prepare materials for pickup.
• Maintain housekeeping logs and report damages or repairs promptly.
• Coordinate daily housekeeping schedules and assist with laundry and dining tasks.
