Job summary

The Salvation Army in Canada is seeking a dedicated housekeeper for York Housing & Support Services in Ontario. You will maintain a clean, safe residence for residents, perform routine cleaning, sanitizing, and setup of rooms for new residents, and support staff with timely housekeeping tasks.

This role requires Grade 12, prior housekeeping experience, First Aid/CRP certification, and a current Vulnerable Sector Check.

Responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize and maintain facility areas (floors, walls, washrooms, kitchen, dining, lounge and offices).
• Restock cleaning supplies, linens, and towels; replace worn items.
• Prepare rooms for new residents and assist with events/meetings setup.
• Respond to inquiries from guests or staff in a courteous manner.
