Job summary

Compass Communities in Canada is seeking a Property Manager to oversee operations, staffing, planning and resident relations at our residential land lease communities. This role requires a proactive self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can think like an investor to promote profitability.

The position is fully on site, with responsibilities spanning customer service, staff training, budgeting, safety, and coordinating with contractors and vendors.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in property management.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Experience managing budgets, staff, and resident relations.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Be primary contact for residents and staff; address concerns and resolve issues.
• Train staff to deliver exceptional service and build brand recognition.
• Ensure a safe and well-maintained environment for residents and employees.
• Conduct regular property tours and address customer concerns promptly.
• Manage, train, and supervise on-site administrative and maintenance staff.
• Oversee recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and budgeted wage costs.
• Maintain staffing levels and oversee employee scheduling and leave.
• Oversee budgets and payroll processing; contribute to financial reporting.
