Job summary

The Saskatchewan Health Authority in Regina is seeking a Registered Nurse in oncology to provide holistic nursing care across the cancer care continuum, including assessment, treatment coordination and follow-up.

The role requires a Bachelor/Diploma in Nursing, BLS-C, and CRNS licensing; Oncology Certification is an asset. You will work days in a 1.0 FTE capacity, with a Pay Band 6 salary and a 3-week rotation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree / Diploma in Nursing.
• Certification for Basic Life Saver (BLS)-C.
• Oncology Nursing Certification is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality holistic nursing care to oncology patients throughout the cancer care experience.
• Perform assessment, intervention, treatment coordination and administration.
• Provide teaching, counselling, support and follow-up to patients and families.
• Collaborate with Site/Provincial managers within the care services division.
