Job summary

The Saskatchewan Cancer Agency is seeking a Pain And Symptom Management and Palliative Care Coordinator in Regina, SK. This part-time role provides clinical leadership and coordination of pain and symptom management for oncology patients and their families.

You will consult, educate and support best-practice palliative care, working closely with the Systemic Therapy & Outpatient Services team. Required are a nursing degree, active registration, BLS-C, and five years of nursing experience;

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree/diploma in nursing with active registration.
• BLS-C certification; oncology nursing certification is an asset.
• Five years nursing experience and CRNS registration.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership, support and care coordination for oncology patients and families regarding pain, symptoms and palliative care.
• Offer consultation and education to ensure best-practice, evidence-based pain and symptom management.
• Collaborate with staff and external partners to improve patient outcomes.
