Job summary

Once Upon A Child in Markham, ON is seeking a Retail Manager to oversee daily operations at our Castlemore Avenue location. You will direct staff, manage budgets and scheduling, and ensure excellent customer service in a fast-paced retail environment.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of retail management experience, college education (CEGEP/college), and strong communication skills in English. This full‑time, on‑site role includes varied shifts and health benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum two to three years of experience in retail management.
• Education: College/CEGEP or equivalent.
• Fluent English required.

Responsibilities

• Direct and control daily operations at the store.
• Plan and organize daily operations to meet targets.
• Manage staff and assign duties to shift teams.
• Recruit, hire and supervise staff and/or volunteers as needed.
