Job summary

Realstar is currently seeking an Assistant Resident Manager 2-Person Team in Nanaimo, BC. The role offers on-site living with a schedule that includes four weekdays, every other weekend, and occasional on-call evening shifts. Base compensation is $44,000 per person, plus an apartment suite and benefits.

You will support leasing, resident services, and maintenance tasks in a live-in setting. Ideal candidates bring strong customer service, basic computer skills, the ability to lift up to 50lbs,

Qualifications

• Strong customer service skills.
• Previous or similar property management experience is an asset.
• Professional/presentable appearance.
• Knowledge and understanding of safe handling of cleaning materials (WHMIS).
• Ability to perform general cleaning duties and minor maintenance repairs.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs and assist with snow removal when needed.
• Basic computer and keyboarding skills.

Responsibilities

• Clean common areas of the property (hallways, stairwells, amenities).
• Perform minor maintenance repairs and troubleshooting.
• Prepare vacant apartment suites for new residents.
• Provide exceptional customer service to residents and prospective residents.
• Assist with leasing suites.
• Respond to on-call requests.
