Job summary

Ledcor Industrial is seeking a Materials Coordinator to support site operations on industrial projects across Canada. You will coordinate receipt, storage, and distribution of materials, track inventory, and interface with procurement, vendors, and field teams to ensure timely deliveries.

The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to safety and documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating materials, logistics, or warehouse ops in industrial settings.
• Knowledge of construction materials, especially mechanical/structural components.
• Strong organizational and tracking abilities.
• Experience with inventory systems and documentation.
• Ability to coordinate across multiple teams and stakeholders.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to safety and proper material handling practices.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials to support site operations.
• Track material inventory levels and ensure availability for critical path activities.
• Interface with procurement, vendors, and field teams to align material deliveries.
• Verify materials against purchase orders, specifications, and packing lists.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and material tracking systems.
• Coordinate staging, laydown areas, and material logistics on site.
• Identify and resolve material shortages or discrepancies.
• Support expediting activities to ensure timely material delivery.
• Ensure compliance with safety and handling requirements for materials.
• Assist with reporting and documentation related to materials management.
