Job summary

Legrand Mississauga is seeking a Lead Continuous Improvement Engineer to drive lean transformation across its manufacturing operations. You will lead and coach teams, implement strategic improvement initiatives, and embed lean tools into daily management.

Travel up to 25%. You will collaborate with plant leadership to improve safety, quality, delivery, and productivity while developing standard work and visual management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business, or related field required.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in Business Excellence, Continuous Improvement, OpEx, or Lean implementation.
• Experience with Lean manufacturing principles and related tools; world-class Lean environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead Lean transformation and daily management initiatives across manufacturing operations.
• Coach teams on problem solving, Kaizen events, and standard work development.
• Support Gemba walks, visual management updates, and sustainability of improvements.
• Monitor KPIs and sustain continuous improvement through follow-up and assessments.
• Assist Plant Manager and Value Stream Managers on critical projects and capacity expansion.
