Job summary

Regal Security Inc. is seeking a full-time Concierge Security Guard to join our sites in the Halton Region. You will be the front-line contact for clients and staff, delivering personalized service, maintaining orderly facilities, and enforcing safety policies.

Ideal candidates have a valid Ontario security license, First Aid/CPR, WHMIS, and a history of reliable, detail-oriented work. You will work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, and report to the site supervisor.

Qualifications

• Valid Ontario Security License.
• Valid First Aid/CPR Certification.
• Valid WHMIS Certification.
• Secondary School Diploma or equivalent; preference for Criminal Justice or Business post-secondary education.
• Proficient with computer programs (Microsoft Office, Gmail) and able to learn new programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding and personalized customer service as a front line representative of Regal Security.
• Act as Regal’s day to day point of contact for client and field staff inquiries.
• Supervise site to ensure security staff meet company standards in terms of uniforming, training and site procedures.
• Operate and maintain an organized environment.
• Enforce property rules and regulations to maintain security and safety of clients and their assets.
• Ensure enforcement of Trespass to Property Act.
• Safely operate and maintain company and client-issued equipment.
• Respond to major incidents on property and aid security staff with managing the situation.
• Ensure safety and emergency protocols are completed in response to Fire Alarms and other Site Emergencies.
• Complete walking patrols and inspections of facilities and equipment as required.
• Review, know and follow post orders as identified for site representing.
• Maintain a safe working environment and follow health and safety procedures.
• Duties as otherwise assigned.
