The Vancouver School Board (VSB) is actively recruiting office administration on-call staff. Most roles are school-based (10-month), with opportunities to advance into HR, payroll, accounting or other departments. Positions are on-call, busy year-round with breaks during July/August and other breaks.

Permanent roles include a comprehensive benefits package after a probation period of 16 weeks. You will use strong customer service to answer phones, manage the office, reconcile and process

Qualifications

• Grade 12 plus 1 year post-secondary in business/office admin and 2+ years office experience.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Excellent English communication, both oral and written.
• Experience with HCM/payroll/accounting systems is an asset.

Responsabilités

• Answer the phone and manage the school office.
• Direct on-call staff and support school community.
• Perform reconcile, process accounts and invoices.
• Compose and prepare correspondence and reports.
• Contribute to a positive school culture and staff/students.
