Job summary

Avenue Living Residential in Edmonton is seeking a Maintenance Associate to support property teams with repairs, renovations, and general maintenance across our rental communities. You will perform duties such as painting, drywall, minor carpentry, and safe operation of building systems while ensuring residents' needs are met.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of general labor experience, the ability to lift 50 lbs, a valid driver's license, and a willingness to work outside regular hours

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' general labor experience.
• Tech-savvy and able to use multiple programs on mobile.
• Strong communication skills with residents.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.
• Must pass criminal record check and be available for on-call shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to Maintenance Associate Team and Residential Portfolio Manager.
• Deliver and remove materials and appliances; assist with installation and disposal.
• Perform minor renovations: painting, drywall, mudding, taping.
• Distribute resident notices and postings across properties.
• Maintain the property: snow removal, lawn care, garbage, large-item removal.
• Repair and maintain building systems; respond to emergencies; conduct inspections.
• Other duties as required.
