Job summary

Avenue Living Residential is seeking a Maintenance Associate to support our operations team in Edmonton. You will help with material delivery, minor renovations, and daily upkeep of the property to keep our communities safe, clean and welcoming for residents.

With a focus on reliability and good communication, you will participate in on-call rotations and assist with snow removal, lawn care, and routine inspections as part of a strong, employee-focused culture.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in general labor.
• Technology-savvy with the ability to use multiple programs and systems on a mobile device.
• Strong communication skills to adapt to resident needs.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record and access to a reliable vehicle.
• Must be clean shaven to wear a respirator when required.
• Ability to work outside regular hours and participate in on-call rotation.
• Must complete and pass a criminal record check.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to the Maintenance Associate Team, Regional Administrative Assistant and Residential Portfolio Manager.
• Deliver and remove all materials and appliances, assisting with installation and disposal of any other unneeded materials as required.
• Work independently to complete minor renovations including painting, drywall, mudding, and taping.
• Assist the property management team with the distribution of resident notices, memos, and postings throughout the property.
• Assist with maintenance of the property, including snow removal, lawn maintenance, garbage collection and removal of large items as required.
• Perform repairs and maintenance to building systems, respond to emergencies, and conduct regular inspections.
• Other duties as required.
