Job summary

Broadstreet Properties Ltd. is seeking a Maintenance Technician for Laurel Meadows apartments in Edmonton, AB. You will diagnose and repair plumbing, heating, electrical issues, and perform general building maintenance to turn units into homes.

The role requires 2+ years in a maintenance-related field, a trade/technical certificate or equivalent experience, and knowledge of basic hand tools. On-call rotation and a valid driver's license are included.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of maintenance-related experience.
• Completion of relevant trade/technical certification or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of basic hand tools and repair equipment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair basic to intermediate plumbing, heating and electrical problems.
• Repair windows, blinds, doors, switches, plugs, appliances and fixtures; replace carpet, vinyl and ceramic tile.
• Paint, patch drywall, mud, tape, and related finish work.
• Maintain building exterior and basic grounds as required.
• Detect faulty operations and report deficiencies.
