Connexa Group in Red Deer, AB seeks an Oilfield Survey Assistant to support field crews on wellsites and pipelines across Western Canada.

You will set up and maintain GPS equipment, collect survey data, and assist the party chief with field tasks, while adhering to safety protocols in all weather conditions. Travel rotations up to 21 days are required, with the opportunity to grow within an innovative geomatics team.

Qualifications

• High School diploma and interest in geomatics.
• 1
• Post-secondary geomatics education is an asset.
• Familiarity with oilfield survey crew work.
• Experience outdoors on industrial or oilfield sites.
• Current First Aid, H2S Alive or CSTS certification (or equivalent).
• Valid Class 5 driver’s licence.
• Experience riding ATVs and snowmobiles.
• Ability to pass drug and alcohol test when required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Support your party chief on oilfield survey projects across Western Canada.
• Set up and maintain GPS and survey equipment.
• Collect survey data and assist with field tasks.
• Communicate clearly with trades, coworkers and clients on site.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe work site.
• Travel for field rotations up to 21 days.

Connaissances

Strong written and verbal comms

ATV/Snowmobile experience

Drug and alcohol test readiness

Familiarity with survey crews

Outdoor work in bush conditions

Formation

High School Diploma

Geomatics post-secondary education (asset)

First Aid Certification
