Job summary

Connexa Group seeks an Oilfield Survey Party Chief based in Edmonton or northern Alberta to lead one of our energy survey crews. Ideally, you have oilfield survey experience and want to grow with an innovative company.

You will lead surveys of wellsites and pipeline projects across Western Canada, mentor crew members, and maintain precise field records while adhering to safety standards in remote field locations with rotations up to 21 days.

Qualifications

• Geomatics diploma or degree from a technical college.
• Experience leading an oilfield survey crew.
• Experience with legal surveys in the Alberta Township System.
• Experience on industrial construction sites and in remote bush conditions.
• Drone experience is an asset.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead surveys of wellsites, pipeline rights-of-way, pipeline integrity and construction projects across Western Canada.
• Mentor and guide survey assistants on your crew.
• Keep clear, accurate field notes, records and calculations.
