Job summary

Connexa Group in Edmonton, AB is seeking a Survey Assistant to join one of our field crews. You will support your party chief on oilfield and construction survey projects across Western Canada and set up GPS and other survey equipment.

This role involves outdoor work in all seasons, strict safety practices, and travel for field rotations up to 21 days. A high school diploma and interest in geomatics are required, with post-secondary geomatics education as an asset.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and interest in the geomatics industry.
• Geomatics education is an asset.
• Familiarity with the work of a survey crew.
• Experience outdoors in bush conditions and on industrial construction sites.
• Current First Aid, H2S Alive or CSTS certification.
• A valid Class 5 driver's licence.
• Experience riding ATVs and snowmobiles.
• Ability to pass a drug and alcohol test when required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
