Job summary

Connexa Group in Grande Prairie, AB, is seeking a Survey Assistant to join one of its field crews. The role supports party chief on oilfield and construction survey projects across Western Canada, and involves outdoor work in all seasons and remote locations.

You will set up GPS and survey equipment, collect data, and communicate with trades, coworkers and clients on site, while upholding safety protocols and a passion for learning in a forward-thinking geomatics environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and interest in geomatics.
• Post-secondary geomatics education is an asset.
• Familiarity with the work of a survey crew.
• Experience outdoors in bush conditions and on industrial construction sites.
• Current First Aid, H2S Alive or CSTS certification (or equivalent).
• A valid Class 5 driver's licence.
• Experience riding ATVs and snowmobiles.
• Ability to pass a drug and alcohol test when required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
