Job Title: Administrative Officer

Qualifications:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  1. Implement and review new administrative procedures.
  2. Delegate work to office support staff and establish work priorities.
  3. Ensure procedures are followed and deadlines are met.
  4. Carry out administrative activities of the establishment.
  5. Administer policies related to the release of records under government access to information and privacy legislation.
  6. Coordinate and plan office services such as accommodation, relocation, equipment, supplies, and security services.
  7. Assist in preparing the operating budget and maintain inventory and budget controls.
  8. Assemble data and prepare reports, manuals, and correspondence.
  9. Train staff and oversee office administrative procedures.
  10. Resolve conflicts, coach staff, and monitor and evaluate performance.
  11. Oversee payroll administration and plan and control budgets and expenditures.
