Job description

Under the direction of the General Manager or Assistant General Manager, the Office Manager is responsible for leading the office staff to achieve customer service goals and ensure Copart processes are implemented and followed for the Customer Service, Dispatch, and Title Processing functional units. The Office Manager will lead their team to facilitate a unique Copart experience for customers by implementing and maintaining Copart best practices that meet company policy, quality, and service expectations. Responsibilities include:

  1. Hiring, training, developing, and motivating staff members.
  2. Managing day-to-day operations of all positions managed.
  3. Ensuring all office positions meet company standards.
  4. Providing direction to the team regarding administrative duties and goals.
  5. Employee scheduling and time and attendance management.
  6. Cash handling, including daily bank deposits.
  7. Completing all job tasks for positions supervised.
  8. Leading the team to meet or exceed facility goals.
  9. Monitoring office supplies inventory and purchasing as needed.
  10. Conducting performance reviews according to company schedules.
  11. Planning and leading meetings per company standards.
  12. Handling employee/customer service issues.
  13. Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Experience:

  1. High School Degree (GED), some college preferred.
  2. Three (3) years office management or equivalent experience.
  3. Computer Proficiency (MS Office Suite).
  4. Excellent communication skills -- verbal and written.
  5. Ability to hire, train, and develop employees.
  6. Typing at least 45 Words Per Minute.
  7. Basic 10 Key proficiency.
  8. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  9. Ability to manage expenses with basic accounting and inventory management skills.
  10. Valid Driver's license.
  11. Ability to travel as needed.
  12. Ability to respond to alarm calls as needed.
  13. Bilingual skill a plus.
