Job summary

Black Rock Oceanfront Resort in Ucluelet, BC is seeking casual Events Servers to help deliver memorable service at weddings, celebrations, and corporate events. This part-time role offers flexibility for students, another job, or seasonal work in an oceanfront setting.

You will greet guests, serve food and drinks, set up and break down banquet spaces, and work closely with Events and Culinary teams to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

• Serving and/or bartending experience
• Serving It Right certification (required)
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and serve food and beverages professionally
• Set up and break down banquet spaces for events
• Follow Banquet Event Orders closely to ensure details are executed
• Collaborate with Events and Culinary teams for smooth operations
• Maintain clean and organized service areas and handle linens
• Support teammates and foster a positive, collaborative environment
