BayCare Health System in Tampa Bay is seeking an Obstetrics Emergency Department RN to join a compassionate team at St. Joseph's Women's Hospital. The role focuses on inpatient obstetric care within a high-demand hospital setting.

Responsibilities include nursing process, interdisciplinary collaboration, care planning, and patient safety. Requires RN license, BLS, NRP, and 2+ years Labor & Delivery triage experience; degrees in nursing.

Qualifications

RN license and BLS/NRP certifications required.
Minimum 2 years RN Labor & Delivery experience.
Triage experience in obstetrics preferred.
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing required.

Responsibilities

Works in a hospital setting and independently cares for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards.
Collaborates and communicates with inter-disciplinary care providers in developing and assisting in plan of care
Organizes and prioritizes and updates plan of care in collaboration with patient, family, and significant others
Identifies patients at risk for injury regarding diagnosis, medication, procedure, age, etc., and prepares room environment.

Shift Hours: 6:45PM - 7:15AM
Weekend Work: Every Other

The Registered Nurse Responsibilities

Works in a hospital setting and independently cares for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards. Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team. The Registered Nurse is also responsible for professional accountability and development.
Collaborates and communicates with inter-disciplinary care providers in developing and assisting in plan of care
Organizes and prioritizes and updates plan of care in collaboration with patient, family, and significant others
Identifies patients at risk for injury regarding diagnosis, medication, procedure, age, etc., and prepares room environment.
